What will you do?
As a Regional Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical leadership by visiting villages regularly to guide and support clinical teams, offering coaching, orientation, and tailored training. You will work closely with village leadership to enhance aged care quality, ensuring clinical practices align with Ryman policies, industry best practices, and the Nga Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standards.

A key focus of your role will be driving continuous improvement by using performance dashboards to identify opportunities and implement strategies to achieve better outcomes. You will also manage complaints and incidents, investigating clinical issues, addressing health and safety risks, and implementing robust improvement plans in collaboration with village leaders.

Promoting culturally safe care is a critical aspect of this role, empowering teams to deliver care that respects and celebrates diverse beliefs, ethnicities, genders, and practices, in alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. Additionally, you will support leadership development by assisting in the recruitment, mentoring, and professional growth of clinical leaders, with a strong focus on succession planning.

Who are you?
You are a compassionate and experienced clinical leader with a genuine passion for aged care. You bring:

  • Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with extensive aged care experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire clinical teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Nga Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standards and aged care quality frameworks.
  • Skilled in using data insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Committed to culturally inclusive care with a sound understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
  • Resilient and composed under pressure, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to support and empower teams.
  • Passionate about exceeding expectations and delivering excellence in aged care.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Believes in fostering strong, trusting teams that work together effectively.
