You're a Tradie. Or a multitalented Handyperson. Whatever your title, you're handy with a power tool and can fix things. You've got a practical approach to solving property maintenance problems.

We are Millennium and Copthorne Hotels Queenstown. Together with Millennium and Kingsgate Hotels, we are one of New Zealand's largest hotel operators.

That's where you come in as our Maintenance Handyperson.

In this part time role, you will be someone who is self-motivated, hands-on and multi-skilled.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Executing proactive maintenance measures to ensure uninterrupted hotel services and comfort for guests.
  • Showcasing your skills in painting, plastering, gibb stopping, joinery, and other general maintenance tasks.
  • Swiftly addressing maintenance concerns raised by guests, enhancing their satisfaction with timely resolutions.
  • Excelling in the completion of work orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Conducting daily rounds to spot and report issues, contributing to the continuous upkeep of the property.


It goes without saying that you have a good knowledge of tools and techniques, and you may have worked in a role where you've been responsible for overseeing property grounds and performing preventative maintenance in the past.

About You:
Our ideal candidate is as flexible as they are skilled, ready to tackle variable shifts and on weekends if the need arises. If you've got a friendly, customer-focused attitude paired with a physically fit and energetic demeanor, you're exactly who we want. We will look after you in this secure part-time position offering a minimum of 35 hours per week within a friendly team. $25-30ph
