Job Description

Maintenance Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team and ensure that our equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter with 4+ years of experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery. You will also oversee equipment installations, scheduled maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faulty components of machinery.
  • Restore, rebuild, and replace parts as needed.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Interpret technical drawings and manuals to troubleshoot issues.
  • Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Utilize MS Office and Dynastar (or similar maintenance management software) for record-keeping and scheduling.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a maintenance fitter.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing problems and machinery repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Dynastar or similar software.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in an industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
