About the Role
As an Entry Level Checkout Supervisor at New World Metro Willis Street, you'll be a key player in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for supporting the checkout team, assisting with daily operations, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership and retail skills in a busy and rewarding setting. Rosteroption1 - 29hrs Tuesday: 5:30pm - 9:30pm wednesday: 3pm - 10:30pm Thursday: 5pm-8pm friday: 3pm - 10:30pm Saturday: 2pm - 10:30pm RosterOption 2 - 30hrs Tuesday: 4pm - 7pm Wednesday 3pm - 10pm Thursday: 3pm - 10:30pm Friday: 3pm - 10pm Saturday 2:30pm - 10pm
The Role Will Involve
Supervising and supporting a team of checkout operators during peak and off-peak times. 🤝
Ensuring efficient and accurate checkout processes are followed. 💰
Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. ✨
Assisting customers with queries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. 😊
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment. teamwork
Opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation. 🏧
Basic stock replenishment and display. 📦
Reporting any issues or concerns to management. 🗣️

Basic cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
DutylLiquor manager certificate preffered but we can organise this training.
