Key Responsibilities:
As a Management Accountant, you will be instrumental in providing commercial insights and management accounting support to drive the strategic goals of a key business function. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of market, channel, product, and customer profitability by effectively managing pricing, trade spend, COGS, and marketing spend. Your role will also involve supporting the Commercial Finance Team in delivering long-term and short-term plans and forecasts. A key part of your role will be establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with internal stakeholders/business partners while supporting continuous improvement programmes for this key business function.
- Provide commercial insights & management accounting support
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and transparency of market, channel, product and customer profitability
- Manage pricing, trade spend, and marketing spend effectively
- Support the Commercial Finance Team in delivering long-term and short-term plans and forecasts
- Establish and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders/business partners
- Support continuous improvement programmes for reporting
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role brings a wealth of experience in delivering commercial insights and core accounting outputs in a medium to large global organisation. With a Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting or related field under your belt, you have honed your advanced Excel skills and gained experience working with a large ERP. Your solid working knowledge of trade spend, NPD, and channel profitability sets you apart from others. Experience using an Insights Tool such as Power B.I or Qlik is essential for this role. Additionally, your understanding of process improvement, and continuous improvement will be highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience delivering commercial insights and core accounting outputs (Budgets/Month End Close & Reporting) in a medium to large global organisation
- Advanced Excel skills & experience working with a large ERP
- Solid working knowledge of trade spend, NPD, and channel profitability.
- Experience using an Insights Tool such as Power B.I or Qlik
- Working knowledge of process improvement, and continuous improvement
