What you'll do:

As a Senior Systems Accountant, you will be a vital cog in the Finance Systems team. Your daily responsibilities will encompass offering support to various finance systems, performing system support tasks, maintaining documentation standards, identifying process enhancements, collaborating with technology teams, leading project initiatives, and ensuring compliance. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating efficient delivery of accurate, timely, and relevant information to bolster our business.

  • Offer support across all finance systems including SAP GL, Planning and Forecasting, Reconciliation and Transfer Pricing systems
  • Perform system support tasks to ensure seamless operation of these systems
  • Maintain top-notch documentation for all key tasks and processes
  • Identify and implement enhancements to streamline processes and fortify the master data management framework
  • Work closely with relevant technology teams and vendors to ensure optimal system performance
  • Contribute to and lead any project initiative requiring Finance systems expertise
  • Ensure legislative and policy compliance and assist in fostering a safe culture


What you bring:

The perfect candidate for the Senior Systems Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in supporting Finance Systems. You have demonstrated your expertise in the SAP FI/CO module through previous roles. Your robust problem-solving skills empower you to work both independently as well as collaboratively. You have hands-on experience in Unit and SIT testing in SAP including defining test plans. Your background includes master data and systems change management. Above all else, your strong relationship-building and communication skills distinguish you from others.

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience supporting Finance Systems, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP FI/CO module
  • Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Experience in Unit and SIT testing in SAP including defining test plans
  • Experience in master data and systems change management
  • Demonstrated experience in Anaplan system highly desired
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
