Business Analyst - Commercial Finance

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our wider Finance team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Senior Business Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant who thrives on producing accurate and insightful reports and enjoys diving deep into data to uncover trends and opportunities. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end processes for the NZ Commercial Finance Team ensuring accurate and timely financial information is available to key stakeholders. You will also support the senior business analyst to provide reporting and insight to the NZ Replenishment team, enabling them to maintain optimal inventory levels and drive business performance.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Manage the full suite of Trading department reports (weekly/monthly), maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established standards
- Manage weekly working capital performance reports and assist SBA with collaborating with the NZ Replenishment team to analyze variances against budget and forecast.
- Manage the month end tasks around insurance and supporting office expenses, including the preparation of accruals or adjustments journals if needed.
- Assisting the SBA with preparation of a suite of month end results packs
- Assisting the merch finance team to ensure the latest forecasts are reflected in the system in a timely manner
- Business partner with key stakeholders together with the Finance department to provide sound advice and information on financial results, forecasting and budgeting
About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role you will have a finance related degree and a professional accounting qualification or working towards it. You will have previous experience in budgeting, reporting and analysis coupled with a strong business partnering approach. You’ll be able to deliver high quality results under pressure and will bring a proactive approach, willing to contribute to our continued success!
