As a key member of the SLT, you will oversee nationwide initiatives and mentor a dedicated team. This sits at the $120k mark but can be negotiable on skill set and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic direction of programme operations, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Oversee financial planning, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide strong leadership, empowering a team of programme managers, coordinators, and warehouse staff.
Ensure the smooth delivery of five nationwide programmes, overseeing logistics, volunteer engagement, and stock management.
Build relationships with key and a range of stakeholders, including schools, community leaders, and charitable partners.
Drive health and safety best practices, ensuring compliance across warehouse and operational functions.
Play a central role in coordinating large-scale community initiatives, including flagship events like the Christmas Joy Store.
What You Bring:
A strong operational background, ideally within the charity, NGO, or social services sector.
Proven experience managing large teams and volunteers in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of logistics, supply chain processes, and warehouse operations.
A hands-on leadership style with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
Understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable communities, particularly Māori and equity-focused initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the confidence to drive operational change.
A proactive and calm approach to meeting deadlines, along with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
Willingness to travel periodically for on-site programme oversight (expenses covered).
