Our Hamilton based Private Banking team has an exciting opportunity become available for a dynamic and driven individual to join their team as a Private Banking Associate.


Te tūranga | The role:

The Private Banking team strives to provide the best possible experience to our High Value Clients (HVCs). As a Private Banking Associate, you will work with a supportive team to provide first class customer care to our HVC's. Building and cultivating relationships with your assigned portfolio of clients, you will identify and provide solutions to customer's financial needs as well as provide operational assistance to the Private Banking manager where required.

As an articulate and confident communicator, you will draw on your existing banking knowledge and lending experience to facilitate seamless transactions for our customers whilst ensuring the Banks professional image is always maintained. It is also critical that you have a high level of AML knowledge and experience. Our portfolio of clients can have sophisticated and complex lending requirements hence we are seeking a person with the ability to offer appropriate solutions and foster a deep understanding of your clients' drivers and values.

Your ability to build strong relationships and networks to assist clients and your ability to remain calm under pressure is crucial to your success in this role. You will be solutions focused and able to work to a high standard of detail with the confidence to think outside the box.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that are in continual growth mode. You will have every opportunity to use your existing skills but along with that you will be closely mentored to help increase your knowledge of Private Banking.
