Are you competent in operating a forklift? Do you have warehousing or storeman experience? Do you have good communication, literacy, and numerical skills?

This is a hands-on role assisting distribution to ensure a smooth flow of inwards goods, picking, packing, and dispatching orders. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks and containers with a forklift, shifting stock around the yard, inventory control, some computer work, and physical labouring. You can expect to operate a forklift 80% of the time, with the remaining 20% spent completing paperwork for freight consignments.

Experience in warehousing, logistics, and forklift operation is essential, as the environment can be fast-paced during seasonal peaks. You must also be available for extra hours as required to meet customer demands. A high level of health and safety compliance, accuracy, and methodical work is expected.

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Current OSH Forklift Certificate, preferably with F Endorsement
  • Competency in forklift operation
  • Working knowledge of NZ Health and Safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Flexibility to work extra hours when needed


This position operates Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings during seasonal peaks. It offers 40 hours per week, with overtime rates and allowances as required.

The successful applicant must pass a pre-employment drug test and be conviction-free per company policy. NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required.
