Job Description:
Textile Machine Operators required for large Industrial manufacturing of flooring and textiles based in Manukau, we are seeking someone who has had machine operating experience in an industrial environment

The hours of work are 7.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday

The following positions are available

  • Beaming Operator - Dayshift

Preparing the beam and winding up a large number of yearns, ensuring quality control of product and operating and maintaining the beaming machine to achieve yarn tension and evenness of the product

  • Tufting Operator – Dayshift

Set up, operate, and monitor tufting machines to produce carpets according to specifications.Make necessary adjustments to machine settings during production,Load and unload materials (e.g., yarn, backing fabric) into the machine.

  • Finishing Line Operator – Dayshift.

This role requires a person with some technical and mechanical knowledge that works well in a small team.
A Finishing Line Operator in the carpet industry is responsible for the final stages of carpet production, ensuring the finished product meets quality standards and is ready for shipping, often involving tasks like binding, serging, and inspection.

We are seeking someone who is has experience in Machine operation, and has a high attention o detail and accuracy,

You will need to pass full pre-employment drug testing and be physically fit as there is lifting involved of yarns into machine 15kgs
