We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a local engineering firm. This can be on a temporary or long term basis depending on availability.
Key tasks:
Read and understand all drawings
Heavy fabrication
Heavy mechanical fitting
MIG Flux Core and Stick welding - FCAW & SMAW
Some TIG welding - aluminium and stainless steel
Working to tight deadlines
Skills & attributes required:
Minimum 3 year's experience in heavy mechanical engineering
Be a competent Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
Ability to work unsupervised and complete a task from start to finish alone
Ability to fabricate accurately from technical drawings
A strong commitment to Health & Safety
