We are on the hunt for an Upper North Island Account Manager to drive our growth, build exceptional customer relationships, and champion our brand across Aotearoa in DHS Purlins, Hibond and Flatdeck. Your Role – Lead, Build, Excel!

As an Account Manager, based in Papakura, and covering Bombay to the Upper North Island, you’ll be the face of Dimond Structural, from managing existing clients to scouting new opportunities, you’ll ensure that our service remains top-notch and our business continues to grow. You’ll deal with the entire process from conception to install, and the bulk of your time will be spent in the Auckland area, with approx. 1 night away per month if required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on sales and margin targets while boosting customer satisfaction.
  • Drive growth by identifying new markets, reigniting relationships with past clients, and securing new revenue streams.
  • Build strong relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Create and implement sales strategies aligned with Dimond’s goals.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Ensure customer needs are met with best-in-class service and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver CPD Presentations to Architects & Structural Engineers
  • Attend trade Shows and deliver educational presentations to educational facilities
  • Work seamlessly with the Dimond Structural Sales and Specification Team including at industry events.

  • Proven track record in specification and sales, coupled with strong business acumen.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or building materials industry (preferred).
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
  • Financial savvy with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Enthusiastic and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
