Job Description
Downer is an industry leader in water, providing water services to a quarter of New Zealanders. We support our customers across the full asset lifecycle from the conceptual development of a project through design, construction, commissioning and whole-of-life support and optimisation.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity 

We are seeking an exceptional Reporting and Systems Coordinator to provide strong support in developing IT solutions for contract reporting, including process optimization. This role will involve close collaboration with dispatch teams, field crews, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

About you:

The primary emphasis will be on coordinating and scheduling jobs for both reactive and planned maintenance activities. You will be responsible for monitoring progress and ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) specified in contracts are met.

To succeed in this role, you should be a proven performer with excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and strong time management abilities. You must be willing to get involved in various tasks, demonstrate initiative, and maintain flexibility in your working approach while building relationships at all levels.

In addition, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Send service requests and job assignments electronically to field teams.
  • Monitor job statuses and ensure KPI adherence for response and completion times.
  • Coordinate support services and manage communication between the client, field personnel and supervisors.
  • Make and receive calls using the Genesis phone system to ensure effective communication and coordination with field crews, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement reporting systems to ensure continuous improvement in delivery.
