He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Auckland Council’s Pool & Leisure Centre’s are looking for a Team Member to work in our pools, giving swimming lessons. Get paid to work in the water!

This is a fantastic ‘foot-in-the-door’ job if you are interested in getting involved in the Sport and Recreation industry. You will work in the pool giving ‘learn to swim’ teaching lessons to groups of our community. In this role you will get to work with people from all ages, starting at 6 months through to adults.

We are currently looking for a Learn to Swim Instructor that focuses on working with babies and toddlers.

Full training is provided, (including First Aid) so you’ll have everything you need to succeed.

He kōrero mōu: About you
Previous experience working with children is beneficial, but it’s not essential. Full training is provided.

You should be comfortable being in and swimming in the water, and working will all members of the community.

As this role works with children, you will need to:
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Pass alcohol and drug testing
• Complete an online police check
