Te tūranga | The role:

An opportunity for Chapter Lead - Pricing has become available on a 6 month secondment. You will lead a team of product specialists and focus on establishing a clear product vision and driving outcomes for a core product portfolio in Business & Corporate banking.

You will proactively manage the Pricing portfolio across the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring it is competitively and strategically positioned, compliant and profitable. You will work with the leadership team across the product & pricing practice to drive strategic planning, resource investment and KPIs.

Chapter Lead - Pricing is a key leadership role in the Product & Pricing team - as such you'll contribute extensively to the broader product strategy and roadmap, manage alignment and ensure the Pricing chapter is fit to deliver current and future goals.

You will be a pragmatic and effective communicator, who is experienced in dealing confidently with executive level stakeholders including preparing and presenting board papers and who can foster strong relationships across business units. Ultimately, you are someone who understands the commercial objectives of the business, sees the longer term view and is driven to deliver outcomes. A background in pricing strategy and experience in people leadership will enable you to excel in this role.

As Chapter Lead, you will also encourage your team to raise the bar on standards and expectations. You'll provide thought leadership for strategic, process and operational improvements, and challenge things we are not comfortable with, so that we get better all the time. You'll focus on creating a drive for 'craftmanship' within your team and take pride in inspiring and motivating others to grow in your area of expertise.
