Our client, a renowned industry leader in providing HVAC/R Service/Maintenance solutions, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Contracts, Sales, and Key Account Manager to join their exceptional team.


Position: Contracts, Sales and Key Account Manager
Company: HVAC/R Service Contractor
Remuneration: $100,000 - $140,000 (negotiable)

Requirements:

  • Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Qualification (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent assessed by NZQA)
  • Strong affinity for B2B sales, driven to complete jobs within margin and on time
  • Previous project management experience
  • Proficiency in understanding and calculating airflow/heat loads, based on new building code requirements
  • Comfortable with design
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Exceptional technical knowledge in the field
  • Organized, process-driven, detail-oriented, and excellent memory retention skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven multitasking abilities to handle multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Registered IQP (Ideal, but not essential. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be supported through the registration process)




Job Description: As the Contracts, Sales, and Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of this organisation. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


1. Sales: You will be responsible for contract projects focused on ventilation and air conditioning, with refrigeration knowledge being advantageous (training will be provided).

2. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. You will have a portfolio of Blue Chip clients, and your focus on expanding client base will be paramount.

3. Project Management: Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth coordination of site activities, managing staff and sub-contractors, and ensuring turnkey completion.

4. Progress Claims and Reporting: Monitor project progress, prepare progress claims, and keep a close eye on costs and margins to ensure profitability.

5. Health & Safety: Possess a high level of understanding of health and safety regulations, and effectively implement and enforce safety protocols on your projects. Full-time health and safety manager will be available to support you.
