About the Role

As a Senior Windows Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including Office 365, Microsoft and Active Directory. Reporting to the Cloud & Infrastructure Manager, you’ll handle complex incident management, implement robust solutions, and manage the Microsoft stack of technologies.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, domains, DNS, DHCP, and RADIUS authentication.
  • Provide advanced (level 3-4) incident management for Microsoft technologies and 100+ Windows servers.
  • Manage and optimise Office 365 and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain ITIL charge control processes and ensure cost-effective use of Microsoft services.
  • Deploy updates, patches, and upgrades across on-premise and cloud systems.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven expertise in Office 365 and Microsoft device and infrastructure management at senior level.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with Microsoft certificates management and security models.
  • Familiarity with VMware, networking protocols (e.g., IP, HTTP), and backup solutions.
  • RADIUS authentication and remote access server experience.
  • AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification or equivalent knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for mentoring and problem-solving.


Nice to Have:

  • Office 365 cloud migration experience.
  • AWS Cloud experience and certifications, including AWS Cloud Fundamentals and AWS Associate Solutions Architect.
