We seek motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Management workers with TTM, TMO (P & NP) & STMS to join our team ASAP. As a TTM Worker, you will manage and coordinate traffic flow, implement traffic control measures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations and safety in our transportation networks.

About you:

  • Experience: Previous experience in traffic management or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Certifications: TTM, TMO & STMS preferred.
  • Licences: Full Class 1 essential, Class 2 preferred.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Pre-employment checks: Rights to work in NZ, MOJ, ACC, Drug Test

Key Responsibilities:

  • Traffic Control: Implement and manage traffic control plans, including setting up road signs, cones, and barriers to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Coordination: Work with local authorities, contractors, and the public to coordinate traffic management activities and address any issues that arise.
  • Monitoring: Monitor traffic conditions and respond to incidents or disruptions promptly, adjusting traffic control measures as needed.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities, incidents, and any issues encountered. Prepare reports as required.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all traffic management practices comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
