About Ryman Retirement Villages
Ryman Healthcare is seeking Three full time Caregivers to join our friendly team at Bob Scott Retirement Village in Petone, Lower Hutt.

You must have a level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent and at least 3 years relevant experience. Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and the wage will be $27.88 - $30.40 per hour.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident's status or behaviour
  • Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times
  • Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support
  • Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner
  • We provide a full orientation with ongoing training and support towards professional development and aged care qualifications.


Flexibility and reliability are the key attributes that will secure you a role. A variety of shifts are required to be worked each week including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
