Workshop Foreman Opportunity - Join Our Upper Hutt Team!

Are you a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a leadership role in a hands-on, yet low-stress environment? Our 30-bus urban workshop in Upper Hutt is looking for a hands-on Foreman or senior mechanic to oversee our small team of mechanics, ensuring the day-to-day servicing and general repairs of our bus and coach fleet.

  • Call-out roster once every 8-10 weeks, rarely a breakdown that can't wait till Monday
  • Our main workshop is just 20 minutes up the road to provide support at any time.


Who Are We Looking For?

  • Experienced diesel mechanic with 5+ years in the industry.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience, including mentoring apprentices.
  • Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Organised with the ability to manage admin tasks, including payroll and fleet maintenance systems.
  • Team player attitude, happy to go above and beyond when needed.
