We currently have a great opportunity available for a reliable Qualified Carpenter to join our team as Sites Manager.
Our ideal candidate will have proven site management and leadership skills. You'll need to be team player, self motivated, dependable, and enjoy problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role.

You'll need to hold a full clean drivers licence, a Class 2 licence or Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential.
Reporting to the Managing Director, duties and responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand building codes and safety regulations
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality standards
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee material ordering and site logistics to prevent delays
- Track budgets and manage project costs to ensure profitability
- Implement and uphold health and safety policies on-site
- Resolve on-site issues and troubleshoot construction challenges efficiently
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior builders to develop their skills
- Maintain detailed site records, including daily reports and progress updates
