Job Description

  • Multiple roles - mechanical fitters / plant engineers based in the Hutt region
  • Full-time permanent role with opportunity to progress further into leadership
  • Work in a supportive team based role with above market rates and incentives


Your new company

Based across the Hutt Valley. Two large plants sites across food & waste seeking to hire engineers to join their maintenance & repair team. Work consisting of repair and maintenance of mechanical plants, diagnosing breakdowns and repair work on site. Some testing and certifying / operating machinery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Eligibility to work in NZ and ideally looking for a long-term role
  • A Minimum of Level 4 National Certificate in Engineering in either welding, fitter/turner, toolmaking or maintenance
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule (overtime offered)
  • Must be able to work from height (if required)
  • Industrial and mechanically minded and willing to do on-call work
  • Reliability & a good attitude
  • Rigging experience and Forklift licence are preferred
