About the role
We're looking for casual kitchen hand to join our awesome teams supporting with meal prep, service, cooking and any other duties within our modern Village and Care Home kitchens. These roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period, want some extra money without the permanent hours or want to have a go at a different role earning while you learn! This could be great for someone located or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.

You can pick up shifts in either of these roles based on your experience and qualifications but also your enthusiasm and attitude. Want to find out more? Apply now and we can discuss the options available and most suitable.

Your duties and responsibilities will differ depending on what role you move into (you can be involved in more than one) however, some things will be similar across the board:

  • Providing a safe environment to the residents
  • People facing with great communication skills
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed
  • Treating residents with dignity and respect


About you
We are looking for team members with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide support in maintaining our village to a high standard. Some things that will support your application include:

  • Good level of fitness to support in a busy kitchen or café
  • Previous experience is highly beneficial
  • Relevant certifications, as appropriate i.e., Hygiene & Food Handling, First Aid
  • Have impeccable personal presentation
  • Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus
