We are a vibrant, community-focused early childhood centre dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for tamariki aged 0-5 years. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.   You will be working alongside our over 2-year-old tamarki.

Role requirements: 

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: 

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification 
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning 
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard 
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
  • Shares our passion for creating joyful, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments.
  • Is reflective, forward-thinking, and committed to ongoing learning and growth.
  • Thrives on collaboration and values the contributions of tamariki, whānau, and colleagues.
  • Brings a spark of creativity, a heart full of kindness, and a deep love for teaching and learning.
