Leveraging their event experience capability to engage and inspire ASB customers, communities and employees, this dynamic and ambitious team is committed to delivering world-class live experiences.

Te Tūranga | The role:

In this role, you will lead a team of passionate individuals who are committed to deliver outstanding corporate, customer and employee events. You will be responsible for managing the team to build on a solid foundation, delivering the highest quality corporate events internally within ASB, and to the rest of New Zealand. You will build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, develop Event strategies for ASB's key business units and support the team to plan and ultimately implement these events.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Experience, you will also be responsible for establishing ASB's at-event experience that support our Community & Sponsorship portfolio.

Ō pūkenga | About you:

You will ideally have at least 5 years' experience leading a team, having worked Brand, Sponsorships or the Events industry and have proven experience in managing a variety of events such as, staff award events, staff information events, executive roadshows, conferences, speaker series, gala dinners and hosted sporting events. Your success will come from having a high level of interpersonal aptitude, with the ability to build strong working relationships & influence others. You'll be comfortable engaging with and presenting to C-suite level stakeholders.

You take a disciplined planning approach and your attention to detail is second to none. You are a natural people leader and thrive on mentoring and developing the careers of others. You are well connected and respected within NZ's events industry, and like to keep up to date with latest event treads. and CRM.
