Dimond Roofing, one of New Zealand's most trusted names in the roofing industry, is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Team Leader to take charge of our team of five customer service reps in Auckland. As the Customer Service Team Leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive prompt, accurate, and high-quality service. You'll lead a team of five, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, and play a crucial role in the continued success of our business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and efficient.
  • Overseeing order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Collaborate with operations and planning teams to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Championing customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams to meet and exceed service expectations.
  • Supporting the growth of your team through training and coaching, ensuring they have the skills to thrive in their roles.
  • Work closely with sales teams to optimise promotions, handle quotes, sales, and enquiries in a professional and service-friendly manner.


What You’ll Bring:

  • You’ve led people before and know how to get the best out your team; particularly in a Customer Service, Manufacturing, or dispatch environment.
  • Your leadership experience has seen you coach, mentor, motivate, encourage, and also have those tough conversations in order to get the best out of your team.
  • You have a knack for solving challenges efficiently, using logic and reason to keep the team moving forward
  • Ability to see the opportunity for improvement, with a history of being able to successfully implement sustainable process changes
  • Your customers are your top priority, and you excel at building relationships and delivering top-tier service with your customer-centric approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you’ll be working with various teams, and with your ability to manage change, you’ll keep things running smoothly even in a constantly evolving environment.
