Job Description

Are you an energetic, organised and motivated Accounts Payable Administrator looking for your opportunity in the Primary Industries sector? AFFCO Moerewa is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the team at their plant located in Moerewa.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is organised and can ensure that all duties are completed in a professional and timely manner. You will also provide administration support to multiple areas of the business, so clear communication skills are a must. The role requires a high degree of accuracy and the ability to identify and reconcile a high volume of invoices and paperwork. You may also be required to perform payroll tasks when required.

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Excellent manners and politeness when greeting and dealing with phone calls and in person enquiries
  • The ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills that allow you to prioritise your work effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • A reasonable degree of numeracy and financial acumen
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and well within a team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to coach other staff


Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Previous Accounts payable experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Accounts software (or similar)
  • Reporting /data analysis experience
