Cartology is the Woolworths Groups stand-alone media business. The Cartology business was established with the aim of driving sales of in-store, digital and other media properties, whilst making it easier for suppliers to utilise our full range of media assets to deliver relevant messages to both new and existing customers.

As we continue to grow Cartology within the Woolworths NZ ecosystem, a key role to ensure our success will be our Client Partnerships Managers.

What you’ll do | Hei mahi
This business development role will see you generating multi-channel media sales from suppliers to meet or exceed your budgeted revenue objectives. This is a relationship oriented role and one that will require a strong desire to succeed.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, qualify, pitch and close opportunities for new business leads, driving revenue growth across your allocated patch
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunity, enabling you to provide updates on business reporting, including accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management for your allocated patch
  • Be a spokesperson in market for Cartology, with a solid understanding of our point of difference and how we can add value to our clients
  • Embed yourself in the WWNZ commercial team to ensure Cartology sales activity is aligned with the WWNZ marketing strategy & category plans for your area of responsibility


What you’ll bring | Hei koha

  • To excel you should come armed with several years experience in multi-channel media sales across different client industries and be skilled at selling digital media based on target audience characteristics. Expertise in managing campaigns that leverage a diverse range of coordinated media inventory such as POS, print, email is also highly advantageous.
  • 5-7 years experience in multi-channel media planning / sales
  • Demonstrated success of growing multi-channel media sales across a range of different client types
  • Expertise in managing campaigns that leverage a diverse range of coordinated media inventory (eg POS, print, email, online, OOH, radio)
  • Experience of working with data sources to build strong campaign proposals
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with multiple client contacts to deliver positive outcomes
