ABOUT THE ROLE: As the Head of Technology you will responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, execution and performance of the company's technology environments. This role brings a cohesive service provision across IT systems (software, networks and cybersecurity) and OT systems (industrial control systems, safeguarding, data acquisition), ensuring the seamless integration of IT and OT technologies. You will facilitate innovation and ensure both systems are secure, scalable and aligned with the overall objectives of the business.
ABOUT YOU:
As this is an office based role near Whangarei, you must be located in this area, or open to moving within commutable distance
Proven leadership experience managing complex IT and industrial OT environments and cross-functional teams
10+ years of experience in senior level roles
Extensive vendor management experience in outsourced or hybrid environments
Strong expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and best practices for IT & OT systems
Knowledge of Infrastructure Architecture, business process design and technology integration (cloud environments)
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to high level business strategy
Project management expertise
Ability to optimise infrastructure performance, ensuring reliability, scalability and security across critical systems
Experience assessing and recommending infrastructure technology road maps
It is also highly desirable if you have experience within the critical infrastructure, energy or manufacturing sectors.
