Key Responsibilities:
Produce timely and accurate financial reporting that supports key project outcomes
Partner closely with project teams to develop a clear understanding of progress, risks, and financial performance
Ensure adherence to robust financial controls and compliance standards within the project framework
Own the month-end financial process, ensuring precision in reporting and analysis
Prepare rolling forecasts that identify project out turn positions, variances, and funding requirements
Manage cash flow projections and communicate funding needs
Provide financial planning, strategic decision-making support, and detailed variance analysis
Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and outcomes
Collaborate with the Programme Commercial Manager and senior leadership on budgeting and forecasting processes
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an accomplished finance professional with a strong background in project finance or capital investment programmes. You will have demonstrated experience in large corporate environments, strong influencing skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key qualifications and experience include:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification (essential)
At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in large or complex organisations
Proven expertise in project finance, investment planning, or capital programme management
Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strong familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and BI reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
