About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Harbour Crane Technician to join our Mechanical and Engineering department. This role is crucial for maintaining and planning the upkeep of our Liebherr Mobile Harbour Cranes. We are seeking candidates that have experience working on Mobile Harbour Cranes, especially Liebherr MHC's.
Location: Tauranga Port, Mount Maunganui side
Status: Full-time, Monday to Friday 45 hours per week plus take home company vehicle
Specific Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on Liebherr mobile harbour cranes.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Manage third-party contractors and oversee their work.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and costs.
You will also need:
Level 4 Trade certificate as a minimum
Physically fit and strong, with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proven experience in machinery or MHC management, maintenance, or operations in the maritime or stevedoring industry.
Desire to upskill and undertake further training to enhance job performance.
Full Class 1 Drivers license.
