Starting on 27th February and running through to 10th April, this 6-week contract will see you providing onsite Level 1 desktop support to end-users. You’ll handle basic troubleshooting, including printer issues, screen malfunctions, and internet connectivity problems, with the ability to escalate more complex issues to the Service Desk. As this role involves working across multiple sites, you will need your own vehicle to travel between locations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Provide onsite Level 1 desktop support for end-users.
Troubleshoot issues related to printers, screens, and internet connectivity.
Escalate unresolved problems to the Service Desk as needed.
Travel across multiple sites in Taranaki (vehicle required).
Deliver excellent customer service while assisting users with IT challenges.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous Level 1 IT support or helpdesk experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills for basic hardware and connectivity issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (mileage reimbursement may be available).
Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
