About Business Advisory Services
As businesses change, so do the challenges they face. Our Advisory team provides personalised services to clients at every stage of their business cycle. To excel in Business Advisory Services (BAS), you need to not only understand financial concepts, but also be a great communicator, an outside the box thinker and able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

About the role
When joining BAS at BDO Christchurch you become part of an 80+ strong team of professionals, providing an exciting opportunity for a challenging and rewarding career. You will be exposed to a wide variety of client work that will showcase your strong accounting and problem-solving skills and with your CA/CPA studies well under way or complete, you are keen to build on your developing skills and grow your career with us.

In this role, you'll:

  • Provide general accounting, taxation and business advice to clients
  • Assist clients at their premises with annual management accounting
  • Complete Financial Statements and Tax Returns for a diverse client base
  • Develop your people leadership skills and supporting more junior members of the team
  • Strengthen your accounting experience through the interaction with national and multinational clients.
