The Role:

Due to the rapid growth and an internal promotion of our South Canterbury business, we have an
exciting role available working alongside the existing team. 

The role itself will be shaped to suit experience however core responsibilities will include:
1. Analyse and interpret farm related financial accounts to determine trends, financial ratios and other key insights.
2. Use information provided by farmers and their advisors to create financial models and compare these to industry benchmarks and historical performance.
3. Prepare reports for both farmer and bank audiences. Be able to tailor these reports to the complexity and requirements of each customer, and the requirements of the bank(s).
4. Identify opportunities to improve our systems, processes and reports, and then execute on those changes to ensure we maintain our efficiency, accuracy and relevance to the marketplace.
5. Identify areas to grow and expand our revenue streams in line with stated business objectives.
6. Opportunity to manage a portfolio of existing NZAB customers in conjunction with support from our Client Directors.
7. Use your relationship skills and industry networks to attract new customers to our business and enhance our brand.

You will:
1. Have at least 3 - 5 years accountancy, banking or credit analysis experience.
2. Have an affinity with the agricultural sector, and a desire to improve outcomes.
3. Be able to interact and communicate effectively with banks, farm business owners, farm financial controllers and farm professionals to solicit, interpret and provide judgement to the information required for the farm credit process.
4. Have strong interpersonal and judgmental skills.
5. Be engaging.
6. Be efficient and accurate.
7. Have a desire to grow your skills and be comfortable with change.
8. Look to grow your customer relationship skills to a point where you are able to lead existing relationships and foster new relationships for the business.
