We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery assembly and cabinet making, with the ability to wet spray being a bonus. This position requires someone who is reliable, possesses excellent time management skills, communicates effectively, and is conscientious about health and safety.
Responsibilities
Construct and repair cabinets, furniture, fixtures, and other high-quality products from variety of materials
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Select materials and create cutting lists
Operate machinery and hand tools
Wet spray finishes on cabinet components as needed
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
Qualifications
Proven experience as a joiner or cabinet maker
Ability to wet spray a definite plus
Strong knowledge of techniques, materials, and tools
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Clear communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and quality
Health and safety conscious
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
Day-to-Day
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build cabinets and other products
Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders
Wet spray finishes on cabinet components as required
Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
