Position: Landscaper (with Hardscaping & Maintenance Experience)
Location: 20 minutes outside of Tauranga
Hours: Full-time (must be flexible to meet site demands)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Landscaper with a strong background in both landscaping and hardscaping. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the grounds, building outdoor structures such as fences, decks, and retaining walls, and carrying out general repairs and maintenance on a beautiful and highly-visible site.
You must be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks, as well as have your own tools to carry out various landscaping and construction jobs. Being presentable and able to interact with the public and other staff members is key to this position, as the site is a high-profile location. You will be part of a dedicated team and take pride in keeping the property in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and maintaining garden beds.
• Build and repair hardscaping elements, such as fences, decks, and retaining walls.
• Conduct regular site maintenance, including lawn care, trimming, and general upkeep.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on outdoor structures, such as pathways and patios.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
• Work efficiently and safely, following all health and safety protocols.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance as you’ll be working in a public-facing environment.
• Occasionally assist with special projects as directed by management.
• Manage your own schedule and coordinate tasks to meet site needs.
• Work as part of a team to address any immediate repairs or landscaping needs.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven landscaping experience with specific skills in hardscaping and construction (fences, decks, retaining walls).
• Ability to carry out manual tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
• Own set of tools for general landscaping and construction work.
• Physically capable and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff, clients, and the public.
• Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
• A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work.
• Own transport and the ability to travel to the workplace (20 minutes from Tauranga).
• References and a solid track record in landscaping and hardscaping are required.
