The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa

Joining our Transport and Infrastructure business, as a Driver Operator, you’ll support our Hamilton Foam Bitumen Stabilizing Team in the delivery of ongoing assignments across New Zealand

Working alongside our dedicated team you may operate machinery including excavators, rollers, and trucks but will also from time to time need to use hand tools to get the job done.

This is a full-time, permanent role working across Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work.



Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua

You will have experience operating civil machinery including rollers and diggers. We would also really value:

  • Full Class 5 Drivers License Required
  • Dangerous Goods endorsement required
  • W,T,R Endorsements would be an advantage
  • A great work ethic with a strong focus on Safety and Quality
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to deal with unexpected events and problem solve
  • Great communication skills with the confidence to speak up
  • Be flexible to pick up occasional weekend work and on-call shifts
  • A high level of physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual tasks
  • Enjoy working outdoors alongside a team
  • Have a positive “can do” attitude
