Workshop Controller - Blenheim Toyota

We are seeking your talent to join our Service team as Workshop Controller. This role is a pivotal link between our Service Advising team, customers, and our workshop technician team to ensure our bookings are running to schedule and we meet our customer promises. Tasks include work allocation to our technician team, accurate job clocking, prioritisation of the days job scheduling, estimating repair costs, consistent communication with our customers, service advising team, parts advising team, and technician team, along with regular interaction with other departments and stakeholders of the business. Naturally, you will have excellent time and organisational management, initiative to always be seeking improvements, and a customer-centric outlook to match our ambition of delivering exceptional and perosnalised customer experiences.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position joins a Service team of 17 people within our wider business of 42 staff. This 42.5hour per week position offers a busy and influential role in creating exceptional customer outcomes from our Service department. On the job training is provided by the experienced and well-respected Service Manager, with further support from our Workshop Foreman and service team members. Ideally, your talents will include a mechanical background or automotive in general, but most importantly is your ability to be a positive and strong communicator who thrives on solving multiple priorities together.
