Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to oversee our Newmarket parts department. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the efficient and accurate distribution of parts to our service department and customers whilst upholding our dealership's commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking of parts and accessories in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate fulfilment of parts orders for both service and retail customers.
  • Collaborate with service technicians, service advisors and sales consultants to provide the right parts and accessories for vehicle sales and repairs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers.
  • Monitor parts sales and profitability, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Implement and enforce inventory management and safety protocols.
  • Keep up-to-date with parts catalogue, technology, and industry trends.
  • Work in collaboration with our Service Manager and Brand Manager to achieve manufacture objectives.
  • Provide accurate reporting to the Andrew Simms Group, Dealer Principal and the manufacture as and when required.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in parts management within an automotive dealership.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and tools.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
