About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic Nutritional Products Plant Manager to lead a 24/7 Dryer production operation, manufacturing the highest standard advanced nutrition products. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive our strategy and make an impact. You’ll play a key leadership role where you’ll drive efficiency, quality and ensure cost effective operations to optimise plant performance.

You will bring your strong leadership skills, strategic decision making abilities and commitment to operational excellence.

Key responsibilities of this role include..

• Oversee daily production processes, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Manage full financial, operational and performance accountability for the plant.
• Drive efficiencies and a culture of excellence, whilst meeting product yield, cost and quality targets, and ensure the safety of the team.
• Oversee maintenance of spray dryers, evaporators, and related equipment.
• Develops and delivers against the Plant Master Plan.
• Take proactive action in leading, developing and managing the manufacturing teams and ensuring that focus is given to building a high performing/highly engaged team.
• Management, monitoring and achievement of value drivers.
• Increasing profit and efficiency of your assets and business unit.
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in dairy production process or manufacturing in a medium to large organisation preferred.
• Previous technical experience including spray dryer and infant formula manufacturing experience.
• A track record of accelerating IWS and continuous improvement processes.
• Ideally 5 years of demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop high-performing teams, driving a collaborative and engaging work environment.
• A track record of exceeding performance targets, driving improvements in operational efficiency.
• Experienced in implementing strategies that result in cost savings, productivity gain and a streamlined workflow.
• Expertise in food safety protocols and HACCP systems, with a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
