We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Saw Doctor to join our team. As a Saw Doctor, you will examine, repair, and maintain saws and sawmill machinery to ensure they perform at their best. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in saw repair, sharpening, welding, and mechanical maintenance. This role is Temp to Perm.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in welding and metalwork.
  • In-depth knowledge of saw repair, sharpening, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of saw speeds, as well as the properties of wood and metal.
  • Familiarity with safe working practices in an industrial setting.


What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in saw maintenance or a similar mechanical role is preferred.
  • Clean MOJ and Full Class 1 Licence
  • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
