Job Description

*Offshore Applicants Will Not Be Considered For This Role*

AWF are actively seeking experienced carpenters for several roles in and around the Marlborough region who have previous experience on residential / commercial construction sites.

Dutires will include, but are not limited to:

  • Concrete finishing / placing
  • Form work
  • Paving
  • Boxing
  • Decking & Irrigation


The following endorsements / certifications would be an advantage but not essential:

  • Class 2 license
  • WTR
  • EWP / WFH
  • Site Safe (AWF are able to support with this if not already held)


What else will you need:

  • Strong attention to detail including the ability to read and execute plans, and action any lawful instructions provided by the company / client
  • Punctuality and Reliability
  • Be a team player but also able to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must take pride in all areas of their work and complete to a high level of accuracy


In addition to these you will be required to undertake a pre employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal history check. You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
