We are currently looking for an experienced Truck Driver/Truck Mounted Crane Operator to join our building construction company in Hawkes Bay. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licenses and have experience operating a truck mounted crane. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our trucks and truck cranes, as well as the careful handling of all equipment, tools, and materials both on and off the trucks.

Pay Rate:
$32.00 - $38.00 - dependent on experience.

Skills and Attributes:

• Drive the truck to and from multiple work sites as well as within work sites.
• Safely lift, move, and position loads (including kerb machines and other heavy equipment and materials) using the truck mounted crane.
• Organize crane lift plans and allocate responsibilities to team members.
• Ensure all loads are secure and compliant.
• Follow directions from the foreman and team members on the ground.
• Maintain a clean and current Class 4 Licence.
• Hold a current truck mounted crane certificate (US16617) or have proven experience and be willing to obtain one.
• Must maintain good health and be physically fit to perform the tasks required.
• Hold a Class 4 or 5 Full New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with co-workers and management.
