About the role
Our dedicated kitchen team are looking for Kitchen Hands to deliver excellent service to our residents at our stunning retirement village, Pohutukawa Landings, in Beachlands, East Auckland.
This role would suit someone who is wanting to start a career in the kitchen and enjoys working as part of a team as well as working unsupervised.
Variety of shifts are available across the 7 days between 10 am and 8.30 pm Please let us know which days you are available to work.
We have 3 roles available:
1) 6 hours a week on Saturdays 9.30 am to 4 pm
2) 30 hours a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6.30 pm
3) 20 hours a week on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 6.30 pm and on Saturdays from 12 noon to 6.30 pm

Duties include:
Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
General cleaning in the Kitchen
Assisting with preparation of meals
Delivering food to our care home (within the property)
Skills and Experience Required:
Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)
Positive attitude and a strong team player
Excellent food hygiene skills
Good time management and communication skills
A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (advantageous)
