This role requires a proactive approach to managing all aspects of the sales department, including customer satisfaction, sales performance, and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Used Vehicle Sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise profitability.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, adjusting tactics to meet goals.
• Ensure the sales team provides exceptional customer service.
• Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff to enhance their performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with your team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive market and industry trends.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure an optimal mix of vehicles.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the automotive market and sales processes.
• Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
• A full NZ driver's license.
