Ko tō tūranga – your role
As a Senior Finance Analyst you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Head of Finance Enterprise by delivering insightful financial analysis and recommendations that steer our Enterprise business unit towards achieving its financial targets, all while managing business risks effectively.

Our Enterprise business unit caters to large and complex business customers, generating impressive annual revenue of $0.3bn. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will oversee both revenue and direct costs, with the exciting opportunity to optimize margin, EBITDA, and cash outcomes for One New Zealand.

  • Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making
  • Lead the development and maintenance of rolling financial forecasts
  • Oversee the month-end financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Provision of performance insights, commentary and clear recommendations
  • Strategic finance leadership
  • Stakeholder management/influence to drive performance and decision making
  • Provide financial expertise and analysis to support Commercial decision making
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting and operational efficiencies


Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Experience building and interpreting financial models, with strong capability in excel along with reporting tools experience with PowerBI advantage.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships at senior levels.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to communicate complex finance data to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
