What you'll do:

As a Chief Digital Technology Officer, your role will be pivotal in leading the digital strategy for our client. You will leverage technologies to enhance service delivery, drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, while ensuring effective integration of technology to meet strategic goals. Your expertise will be crucial in advising the Chief Ombudsman and relevant governance boards on current and future digital requirements. You will also take charge of developing business cases for significant investments, overseeing their implementation to transition and operational plans. Leading the Digital and Technology team, you will manage digital services, service delivery, operational performance, IT infrastructure, vendor management, and reporting. Your leadership will extend to monitoring performance standards of current service providers while ensuring risk management principles are adhered to during procurement processes.

  • Develop and lead the digital strategy, leveraging technologies to enhance service delivery and information security
  • Be a trusted and informed strategic advisor to the Chief Ombudsman, SMT and relevant governance boards
  • Consult and lead on the development and design of the ISSP which informs the IMPSG programme of work
  • Lead the development of business cases to inform significant investments, including the oversight of the implementation to transition and operational plans required
  • Lead the Digital and Technology team and the provision of digital services, service delivery and operational performance, including IT infrastructure and vendor management and reporting
  • Lead the monitoring of performance standards of current service providers, ensure risk management and security principles are by design when procuring technology partners
