As a strategic Health and Safety leader, you will work on high-impact Advisory and Business Partnering services across the operational business. As a trusted expert with at least 8+ years' experience, you'll work closely with our wider Health and Safety team and Line Managers across multiple functions to design and implement innovative solutions that empower our business and align with best industry practices. From risk management and incident investigation to shaping the future of Health and Safety culture at 2degrees, this is a role where your expertise and leadership will make a real impact.

- Health and Safety practitioner with 8+ years in senior roles across diverse portfolios.
- A track record of developing, implementing, and monitoring occupational health systems in medium-large, complex, or high-risk workplaces.
- Proven experience leading the design and implementation of organisation-wide Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) programmes.
- A strong influencer with the ability to drive meaningful culture change across a business.
- A collaborative leader who can influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve positive health and safety outcomes.
- Expert in risk management, incident response, investigation methodologies (such as ICAM), and industry best practices.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma in HSM) and professional membership (e.g., NZISM).
In your daily you:
will collaborate with Line Managers to develop and implement effective Health and Safety solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and industry best practices. Your day-to-day will involve providing expert advice on risk management, incident response, and investigations while supporting policy development and compliance initiatives. You'll also contribute to ongoing culture change, represent 2degrees in external Health and Safety collaborations, and drive continuous improvement through research, consultation, and industry engagement.
