We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our team in Brightwater.
The Role - Core Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be overseeing a small Electrical team, and will be responsible for the development and manufacturing output of all technology within the Electronic Division of the company.
This will include but will not be limited to:
- Ensuring high quality output - vigilantly watches over operation processes, tasks and work products to ensure freedom from errors or defects.
- Providing direction specifically for trade staff.
- Making sure all documentation related to the product is filled out correctly and on time.
- Maintaining close communication with the Production Manager providing early estimations of trades staff required for project works.
- Working closely with the Product Managers, and the Production Manager to improve our systems, our people and processes.
- Ensuring that the Workshop is kept in a tidy respectable manner.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven relevant local experience in electrical repair and/or assembly
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Automotive electrical engineering trade certificate
- Ability to read electrical circuit drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
